Feed the Hungry, Earn Allah’s Blessings

This Ramadan, join us in giving ease to destitute members of the community. Throughout the year, with your support, we undertake various initiatives to ensure that all members of the community are taken care of. We strongly believe that by supporting each other we can eradicate poverty, hunger and homelessness from our community. We all have the power to change the fate of our community, all we need is to take the first step.

Allah says in the Quran:

“The parable of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn: it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.” (Al-Baqarah 2:261)

Ramadan provides us with an opportunity to gain a glimpse into what is like for those who have no choice but to be hungry and thirsty every single day. Imagine the discomfort of thirst and hunger we feel during fasting. Unfortunately, it is a daily routine for our fellow brothers and sisters. There are thousands across our community who are facing food insecurity. For those thousands, you are the ray of hope. 

With your help and support, we were able to provide nutritional meals to the destitute members of society throughout the year. We worked tirelessly to ensure that no one goes to sleep on an empty stomach in our community. In this blessed month of Ramadan, we need your support more than ever to continue our mission to end hunger in our community.
