HELP UYGHUR WOMEN & CHILDREN FINALLY FIND A HOME AWAY FROM OPPRESSION.

This project is supported by Shaykh Omar Suleiman, Khaled Beydoun, Shaykh Alaa Elsayed, and many other Scholars and is being conducted in collaboration with Droplets of Mercy, Blue Crescent Humanitarian Organization and Satuq Bughrakhan Foundation for Science and Civilization.

More than a million Uyghur men, women, and children have been displaced. Uyghur children have been reportedly put into boarding schools and forced to give up their Uyghur Muslim identity. Many have not heard from their fathers, who disappeared without contact. For the large numbers of Uyghur women and children refugees in Turkey, they face the prospect of never seeing their spouse or father ever again.

Imagine not knowing where your family members are - or if they are alive?

Many Uyghurs have come to Turkey to seek refuge. Uyghur children are being educated in privately run education centers, however, they are struggling to make ends meet and they need your support. We met with many of the Uyghur orphans and teachers, and were shocked to hear the stories.

This is why we are collecting donations for the Uyghurs in Turkey.

Our main focus with donations is to provide sustainable development. This project aims to acquire a multi-purpose building which will provide:

Food (long term vision: establish a food bank)
Clothing (long term vision: vocational training for sewing)
Education (long term vision: education centre for children)

Shaykh Alaa Elsayed, resident scholar in Toronto, was part of the distribution efforts for the Uyghurs in 2021, thanks to your donations

Our distribution of Food & Clothing to UYGHUR families have been ongoing throughout the year.

Last month we wrapped up our Qurbani distribution to the Uyghurs in Turkey. Droplets of Mercy delivered the largest Qurbani distribution ever experienced by the Uyghur community in 2022.

Thanks to your Ramadan donations, we were able to provide educational supplies and resources to the children at the Uyghur orphanage:

We recently entered into an ongoing partnership with renowned lawyer & activist Khaled Beydoun, to help spread the word about the work we are doing with the Uyghurs in Turkey.

With your support, we are able to provide food, clothing & education to the Uyghur community in Turkey, so they can feel at home away from their home.
